Destination informationDestination information

No amount of photographs and descriptions can really do it justice, and nothing can compare to witnessing it with your own eyes.

You'll be at the famous South Rim, open year round. There are various lookout points from where you can see the Canyon from different angles. The strange rock formations are a bewitching sight and, depending on the time of day, the colours of the hundreds of rock strata change. A viewing at dawn will be dramatically different to one at sunset.

The Canyon is over a mile deep and, on average, 10 miles wide. To hike to the bottom takes a full day, but if you don't have the time or energy for that, our helicopter trips will take you down there in a few minutes, allowing you to explore by the Colorado River, nearly 300 miles of which are part of Grand Canyon National Park.

There are some very exciting ways to approach the Grand Canyon. Best of all has to be a helicopter ride from Las Vegas. On the way, you get to fly over the amazing Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. You can also combine your visit with white-water rafting on the Colorado River and even stay in a cowboy ranch, with horse riding and campfire stories. But however you choose to experience the Grand Canyon, just make sure that you do.
