The Maid of the Mist tour is an incredible experience, giving you the thrill of sailing up right beside the Falls. If you're feeling particularly adventurous, you can take a jetboat ride along the river, whizzing up to the Falls for a heart-stopping escapade! Or, take to the skies and enjoy an exhilarating helicopter flight over the waterfalls. Those who are feeling extra brave can even join an organised walk to discover caves hidden behind the torrents.

But, there is more to Niagara than the Falls which have taken its name. One of the reasons us Brits enjoy coming to the US is for the bargain shopping - and you'll be glad to hear that Niagara has its fair share of that, too!

Speciality shopping districts include Niagara on the Lake's Heritage District, Port Dalhousie, Wainfleet, Fonthill, and downtown Ridgeway.

At night, Niagara takes on a completely different aspect with restaurants, bars and a towering casino to enjoy.
